Sales Executive - Chelmsford, Essex

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, customer focused person to develop their career in sales, It will require someone with a maturity and passion to manage face to face and telephone sales and to demonstrate passion for the Volvo range.

Main Tasks and Duties

  • To manage and standardise greeting and welcoming of all customers into the dealership and to ensure every customer has a consistent approach and welcome.

  • To manage all sales enquiries into the business and record EVERY Customer to Kompass.

  • To manage the sales process and to take the customer through to maximise the sales conversion.

  • To demonstrate the product to Waterhouse and Volvo standards.

  • To maintain the showroom to standards and ensure all displays are maintained timely

  • To maintain the Used car forecourt to ensure they meet the standards.

  • Product knowledge should be such as to be able to identify the product range to be able to direct customers and be fully conversant on all the product range and the ongoing changes to promote the Volvo Product

  • To be fully trained on all product training courses.

  • To be fully conversant on all finance products and offerings.

  • To be fully compliant in all aspects of Compliance training and to adhere to all FCA requirements at all times.

  • Maintain reception desk and showroom to ensure a total clean desk policy is maintained.

  • Ensuring stock of literature is in showroom on display, current version.

  • Any other tasks as directed by managers.

Key Skills Required:

  • Excellent Sales / customer service skills, far exceeding customer expectations for service and warmth of greetings.

  • Outstanding phone manner.

  • Advanced knowledge of the Volvo Product Range

  • To be a complete team player that wants to contribute to the success of the company.

  • To work on own initiative and proactively look to improve customer satisfaction within the dealership

  • System skills to allow compliance of Kompass and Kerridge
